SUGARING HAIR REMOVAL
Unfortunately I'm not able to accept new or former clients. Thank you so much for your interest and understanding. xo Sara-ann
I recommend the ladies at Blossom Spa Retreat for Sugaring services. Rachelle, Gessica and Cori have all been Sugaring for about as long as I have. 🌸
Sugaring is a natural and effective method of body hair removal originating in ancient Mesopotamia, Egypt and Greece. Professional Sugaring can be more safe, gentle and effective than waxing. The professional grade sugaring paste used at the Beauty Temple is made up of three natural ingredients: sugar, water and lemon juice. It looks like thick honey and yes, it's edible! The barely lukewarm sugaring paste is applied to the skin against the growth of the hair. It wraps itself around the hair shaft and seeps into the hair follicle which lubricates the root of the hair. The paste is then 'flicked' off in the direction of the hair growth bringing the hair with it. The result is smooth, beautiful skin, without the discomforts of other epilation techniques. Most people who have waxed in the past and come to me for Sugaring are delighted by the difference in experience and results and never go back to wax.
* Please note that Sugaring cannot be performed if you are currently using Accutane, Retin-A, Differin Gel, or any other oral or topical acne medications.
* You will need 1/16 of an inch in order for successful extraction.
*If hair is longer than 1/4 inch it will need to be trimmed prior to Sugaring to prevent unnecessary discomfort. I am happy to provide the pre-trimming.
*Exfoliation is recommended for the night before your Sugaring service to achieve the best results. You can use dry granulated sugar on warm, moist skin or scrubby mitts or a scrubby cloth.
*Regular exfoliation is recommended beginning a couple days after your Sugaring service to prevent ingrown hairs and make your next Sugaring as successful as possible. At least one time per week at the very minimum.

Sugaring can lead to permanency
Because Sugaring can remove such short hairs, it is possible to extract the hair in it's early growth stage. Each time the hair is extracted during it's early growth stage it tends to grow back more and more refined while the hair follicle becomes depleted. Though each person is different, usually results are noticeable in just a few treatments. For superior results and easy maintenance please refer to this guide.
